Industry Meets the Future at WIN EURASIA:

WIN EURASIA - World of Industry Fair opened its doors to bring the manufacturing industry together with the motto "Industry meets the future" at the Istanbul Expo Center between June 7-10.

Industry Meets the Future at WIN EURASIA:

More than 39,000 industry professionals from an average of 100 countries around the world are expected to visit the fair, where more than 500 exhibitors from Turkey, Europe, Asia and the Middle-East regions will participate.

At WIN EURASIA, which plays a leading role in the transformation of the manufacturing industry to automation and robotic technologies, 'Industry 5.0: Factory of the Future', which is supported by 5G technology and can be controlled through the metaverse, is being introduced to the public for the first time in the 5G Arena.

WIN EURASIA Fair, which is the representative of HANNOVER MESSE, the world's most important industrial trade fair, in the regional market, opened to visitors with the official opening ceremony held on June 7 at the Istanbul Expo Center. The ceremony was attended by ITO President Şekib Avdagiç, MAKFED Vice President M. Sefa Targıt, Deutsche Messe AG Senior Vice President Arno Reich, WIN EURASIA supporter NGOs, exhibitor company representatives, industry professionals and members of the press.

HANNOVER MESSE AND WIN EURASIA BUILD A STRONG NETWORK

In his opening speech, Arno Reich, Senior Vice President of Deutsche Messe AG, said: "We are delighted and excited to welcome trade professionals from all over the world and from a wide range of sectors representing the manufacturing industry 360 degrees in every aspect under the same roof in Istanbul for four days. WIN EURASIA is organized by Hannover Fairs Turkey, which has been organizing the fairs of Germany-based Deutsche Messe AG, one of the world's 10 largest exhibition companies, in Turkey since 1996. Deutsche Messe AG is one of the world's leading exhibition companies. Every year, we organize more than 150 specialized fairs in Germany and abroad, especially HANNOVER MESSE. HANNOVER MESSE and WIN EURASIA create a powerful network that connects you with manufacturers, investors and exporters around the world. We offer high standards in a safe and highly efficient trading environment. This synergy will enable you to expand your trade network, forge new collaborations and establish new partnerships. I wish you a successful and inspiring fair."

DESPITE PANDEMIC CONDITIONS, WE INCREASED OUR EXPORTS BY 9 PERCENT IN THE LAST 5 YEARS

MAKFED Vice President M. Sefa Targıt said, "WIN EURASIA Fair is an important meeting point in the industry that allows us to introduce and recognize machinery and manufacturing systems and related technology products in Turkey. We will be able to see the digital solutions of today and the future at the fair. In this respect, we will have an interesting fair experience." Stating that machinery has a very important place in world trade and has a key importance, Targıt said, "We calculate that the machinery market will reach approximately 50 billion dollars in 2022. In 2022, we were able to export 25.5 billion dollars, including free zones. We broke our own record. Despite the pandemic conditions, we have increased our exports by an average of 9 percent each year in the last 5 years."

THE MACHINERY INDUSTRY WILL BE AT THE CENTER OF INDUSTRY 4.0

Referring to the Green Deal process, which necessitates industrial transformation in the fight against climate change, Targıt said, "Developing methods that do more work and produce more by consuming less raw materials and less energy, designing machines and systems with low emissions and waste, and creating new technologies and systems for green energy production puts our industry at the center of this twin transformation, digital and green transformation. At the moment, the machinery sector seems to revolve around Industry 4.0, but after a while, the machinery sector will shift to the center of this cycle and all production and human relations will revolve around the machinery sector."

WE OBSERVE THE POTENTIAL FOR WIN EURASIA TO EXPAND TO 11 HALLS

Stating that WIN EURASIA is one of the leading fairs that are the pride of the fair processes held in Istanbul, Şekib Avdagiç, President of the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce, said: "I wish that our fair will hopefully be an auspicious, fruitful and abundant trade fair. WIN EURASIA stands out from other fairs with its quality, content, concept and appearance. As Istanbul Chamber of Commerce, we are the main shareholder of this exhibition center. In a short period of time, we have endeavored to provide our users with the opportunity to hold fairs with a much more comfortable infrastructure. Hopefully, we will continue the process of making it the highest quality exhibition center of Istanbul and Turkey. WIN EURASIA opened in 6 halls. We observe that there is a potential to expand it to 8 halls as soon as possible, and then to 11 halls if possible."

Expressing their clear stance on the Istanbul World Trade Center, Avdagiç said, "Istanbul World Trade Center will definitely continue its activities with the mission of a company that provides only quality fair venues. Apart from that, it will not be involved in an alternative work of the companies that organize these beautiful fairs here. We have a red line on this issue. We will continue to work for Hannover Fairs Turkey, which is your most important solution partner in this regard, and for all fair organizers, large, small, medium and large, who want to organize quality and qualified fairs.

MANUFACTURING INDUSTRY MEETS 'INDUSTRY 5.0: THE FACTORY OF THE FUTURE' FOR THE FIRST TIME

5G technology will create $10 billion of industrial added value in the first 5 years after its commercialization in Turkey. It is predicted that 40 percent of this added value will be realized in the industrial automation sector. In this context, WIN EURASIA, which plays a pioneering role in introducing 5G technology to the Turkish industry and using it effectively, is introducing 'Industry 5.0: Factory of the Future', which is supported by 5G technology and can be controlled via metaverse, in cooperation with Nokia and Turkcell Digital Business Services. The 25 different industrial 5G usage scenarios that will be exhibited at 5G Arena set an example of how 5G will be commercialized in the Turkish industry with the added value to be created in vertical sectors. Visitors will have the chance to experience the 5G use cases that factories need most during the exhibition at WIN EURASIA.

MORE THAN 200 BUYERS FROM 10 COUNTRIES ARE PARTICIPATING IN THE BUYER DELEGATION PROGRAM

WIN EURASIA, which contributes to the creation of millions of Euros of business volume for exhibitors and visitors every year, is hosting the Buyer Delegation Program in cooperation with the Machinery Exporters Association (MAIB) and the Turkish Machinery Federation (MAKFED). Within the scope of the Buyer Delegation Program, 200 buyers from 10 target countries, especially Iran, Italy and Algeria, will meet with manufacturer and importer company officials at WIN EURASIA.

METAVERSE AND ROBOTIC TECHNOLOGIES MARK THE EVENT PROGRAM
