Anglo American reduced its copper production forecast for 2023

Anglo American has reduced its copper production forecast for 2023 to 830,000-870,000 tons due to decreased production at its Chilean operations. Despite a 42% growth in its third-quarter output, the company's copper production rose by 176,000 tons to 596,000 tons in the first nine months of the year. The demand for copper for solar panels and electric cars is expected to rise significantly in the coming years, aligning with the global trend towards green energy and electrification.
